In order to explore spillover on mobile networks at the border areas of Iran and Azerbaijan, a joint monitoring was done by the representatives of the two countries prior to the meeting. The results gained from joint monitoring was discussed and analyzed in the bilateral meeting in order to seek necessary solutions.

It was agreed that the mobile operators of both countries take necessary actions in a specified schedule of time to reduce the spillover on the mobile network of the other country which was the main cause of several problems including unwanted roaming.
