Iran, Iraq Seal Cooperation Deal for Arabian Pilgrims

In the meeting held between, Iranian and Iraqi Communication Ministers, the parties signed a joint cooperation agreement which covers strengthening communications, especially in the days of Arabian ceremonies.

Our Public Relations Center reports that in the meeting between the Iranian ICT Minister, Eng. Mohammad-Javad Azari Jahromi, and Hassan Kazim Alrashid, the Communication Minister of Iraq, both parties underscored the importance of Arabian ceremonies and the necessity of providing perfect services and proper facilities for the Pilgrims, emphasizing on improving and strengthening Iraq's communication network.
Eng. Azari Jahromi described Iran's capacities and potentials regarding Telecommunications and data traffic transit, asking to share in projects aimed at reconstruction of Iraq's communication infrastructure by Iranian private sector companies.
In this meeting, the ICT Minister also discussed the issue of job creation in the ICT sector with his Iraqi counterpart, announcing Iran's preparedness for cooperation in this regard.
Hassan Kazim Alrashid, the Communication Minister of Iraq, referred to Iran's support in Iraq in the fight against terrorism and thanking for the continuation of these helps and supports in various sectors, welcomed the involvement of Iran's ICT sectors' potentials and capacities; asking for the implementation of the bilateral agreements in this regard.
At the conclusion, the agreement documents for joint cooperation of Iran and Iraq regarding the strengthening of communications services, especially in the Arabian days, was signed and exchanged by both parties.
