Frequency Bands Utilized by the Cellphone Operators in Iran (I.R. of)
The Communications Regulatory Authority (CRA) has assigned the frequency bands 900, 1 800, 2 100, 2 300, 2 600 MHz and portion of C-band (3 400 – 3 600 MHz) to public mobile network operators (MNOs) in a technology-neutral manner, according to the arrangements of the following Table. MNOs can utilize their own exclusively licensed frequency blocks within these frequency bands, depending on the type of their cellular mobile networks technology, including 2G, 3G, 4G or 5G. Furthermore, 3 600-3 800 MHz frequency band is going to be assigned to the MNOs via an auction.
